Mallorca/Spain

Spain is famous for its good food and tapas culture. In the last 2 years I have found great places to eat on the east coast that I would like to share with you. Either the location, the atmosphere, the food in general or the vegetarian options are just amazing – and sometimes the combination of everything!

3 Categories for Mallorca Restaurant Tips on the East Coast

  • Loved for different reasons
  • Bit high end – but soooo yummy
  • For veggie lovers

I have added some comments for vegetarians so that you know better what to expect in all categories.
I hope my little summary helps anyone holidaying on the east coast of Mallorca to find a new delicious place to enjoy with their loved ones. Especially because most of them don’t even have a website.

LOVED BY ME FOR DIFFERENT REASONS:

BEST PAELLA IN MALLORCA
ANTIC, S’Illot
I just like it. Nice restaurant on the seafront, nothing special in terms of location – but we all love the staff and the pealla there – vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

HAPPY REALAXED VIBES!
PLAYA CALA MURADA, Cala Murada
A small beach restaurant in Cala Murada with simple but good food (also vegetarian) for a relaxed evening with friends or family.

ENJOYING THE SUNSET WITH A GLASS OF RED WINE!
CASSAI BEACH HOUSE, Colònia de Sant Jordi
I love the style and relaxed but stylish atmosphere of this small restaurant with sea views. Definitely one of my top recommendations for a unique day or evening (although the vegetarian options are not outstanding).

NEW!! PERFECT FOR A RELAXED AND ROMANTIC DINNER!
NA PETRA, Portopedro
We came here on recommendation and it was worth it. You can feel the attention to detail in the location and the food. A must visit in Portopetro, the small and charming port of Santanyi.

NEW!! A YOUNG CHEF SURPRISES WITH UNIQUE DISHES!
KAIKUANA BEACH, Porto Colom
It seems that a young team has developed a really good concept. Inspired food like Broccoli Tartar (which I’ve never tried), a fun young team, a cool atmosphere and the sea in front of your nose. I love it!

BIT HIGHER END – BUT SOOOO YUMMY:

THE BEST RISOTTO OF MY LIFE!
PORT PETIT, Cala D’or
My high-end recommendation for those who love an exclusive touch in Cala D’or: chic harbour flair and super delicious and unique food with great vegetarian options.

SIMPLE LUXURY!
SA LLOTJA, Portocolom
Delicious food with beautiful, relaxing harbour views! Simply a must if you are in Porto Colom and looking for a great restaurant.

FOUNDED IN 1925! SOMETIMES TRADITIONS ARE GOOD!
CAN MARCH, Manacor
A restaurant in unknown Manacor with a lot of traditional flair and with super, super good food and affordable prices during the day. Sometimes it’s worth getting off the main streets.

FOR VEGGIE LOVERS:

EVERYTHING YOUR VEGGIE HEART DESIRES
ZERO, Manacor
I know that ‘untouristy’ Manacor isn’t famous for anything, but it really could be for this café/restaurant. I love the food at this simple, down-to-earth veggie restaurant. Hippie chic without the hippie chic, and that’s the best part in my opinion. For me, the most yummy veggie food in Mallorca!

BEST COMBINATION OF VEGGIE FOOD AND VIEWS ON MALLORCA
ORGANIC, Cala Marçal
What a great and relaxed place. Right on one of the most beautiful little beaches on the east coast in Mallorca. The breakfast is fantastic and so is the lunch, the staff are fun and relaxed.

VEGGIE STYLE
QUINCE, Porto Cristo
A very pretty, stylish place on the small harbour of Porto Cristo with delicious vegetarian food and nice staff. Everything you need for a nice day or evening.

Enjoy and let me know if you liked it in the comments section or by PM.
Have a delicious day.
